Natural Man
"Natural Man" is the masculine counterpart to Natural Woman, and while each stands strong on their own, together they radiate brilliance and harmony. This portrait is not of one man, but a blend of many — a composite of strength, dignity, and beauty drawn from multiple influences to create one powerful presence.
His features are bold, unapologetically regal, and grounded in tradition. The white face markings, symbolizing purity, evoke ancestral rituals and spiritual identity. Around his neck, a handmade necklace of pinecone fragments and a mixed-media pendant anchors him to the earth — natural, intentional, and rooted.
As I created this piece, I was deeply moved by the truth that when God made us, He didn’t choose one shade or tone. He painted with a divine palette — blending deep, rich undertones with golden warmth and cool shadows. Natural Man is a celebration of that divine craftsmanship. We are many hues, many cultures, and yet, each one called good.
The natural elements that form her jewelry — fragments of acorns and pinecones — further affirm her authenticity. Each piece is shaped differently, each bearing its own beautiful shade, from rich chestnut to earthy greens and soft, sun-kissed browns.
These intricate details reflect the essence of the natural woman — reminding us that God crafted each of us with an individual identity, yet all for one divine purpose.
